
Alicante airport is located 9 kilometres to the south east of the region's capital city of Alicante in the municipality of Elche.
You can get to the airport on the A-7 national motorways and the N-332 coastal road. The journey by road from Alicante city centre takes approximately fifteen minutes or thirty minutes in rush hour.

Buses are inexpensive and there are three routes operating from outside the terminal building to Alicante, Benidorm and Murcia.
Taxis are also available from outside the terminal building and the typical daytime fares are Alicante, €12; Altea, €61; Benidorm, €54; Calpe, €71; Denia €95; Santa Pola, €16; Torrevieja, €42. These rates increase during nightime and holidays.
Parking is available for 2000 cars opposite the terminal building and the rates are:
First half hour or less, €0.60; second half hour or less, €0.95; all or part of each additional hour, €1.55; daily maximum up to 4 days, €15.45; daily maximum from the fifth day, €12.35.
