
Almeria airport is 9 kilometres to the east of the region's capital city and 500 metres from the coast on the gulf of Almeria.
The airport can be reached from Almeria via the AL-14 motorway, which is a dual carriageway, and there are also access roads from the Autovía del Mediterráneo A-7.

Parking is available for approximately 300 cars on the airport and the rates are:
First half hour or less, €0,40; second half hour or less, €0.50; all or part of each additional hour, €0.95; daily maximum up to 4 days, €9.25; daily maximum from the fifth day, €7.40.
